“From This Day Forward”

Because we are broken people.
We cannot love from this day backwards.
When you love someone today,
You must love them from this day forward.

A simple poem much like a drawn out haiku describing the perspective we must have when loving broken people. We are all broken to an extent and should love each other for who we are becoming.
