How we approach poetry, I think, is just as important as the content written on the page. Where your heart is, where your mind is, and even where your body is, can massively impact your perception of the content. We must keep this in mind before delving into the black and white journeys. When the darkness of the ink and the vacancy of plain paper are combined, they can bring forth colorful, unrevealed, beauty.
The simple quote that helps me keep my posture aligned when approaching written artwork is as follows:
“Be careful and humble listeners, of what is written” -unknown
Blessings!
